A4A (artists for artists) production fund is a collaboration between the Udayshanth Fernando Foundation and SFG. Following a successful first experience in 2021, we are pleased to present the next instalment of the A4A production fund.
In keeping with our aim to provide an alternative method for fundraising, leading and emerging artists have been asked to work with a Ginger Jar for this special edition. All funds raised from the auction of the Ginger Jars will go towards the production fund to support young Sri Lankan artists and designers.
This year the auction will be held exclusively online.
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO BID
To bid on an item, buyers have to first create a bidder registration on the auction platform by signing up for an AirAuctioneer account. From here, bidding is simple and fun! Bidders will be able to keep track of the items they’re bidding on via an on-screen display of live bids (please note: you can choose to remain anonymous to other bidders). We will also notify each bidder when a higher bid comes in for one of their items. At the end of the auction, each winner will be sent an e-mail with their winning bid, including details on how to manually make their payment.
The online auction will be published at 18:00 (SLST) on 30.06.23
