'Poigai' is a series of dreamy pond-scapes by Lojithan Ram where remnants of memories appear mired and tangled among lotus flowers and lily pads. Within this sculptural assemblage, personal relics emerge like memories surfacing through water. The work is symbolic of attempts at anchoring oneself amidst drifting water - echoing paradoxical sentiments of rootlessness and anchorage.
