This work uses the fabric that was to be discarded from the printmakers studio based in Pakistan. It is one of the layers of fabric that is used to absorb the ink from underneath the printmakers' textiles whilst in production. The artist has taken the discarded fabric to stitch into her personal narrative, as she states the discarded fabric has many histories printed into the fabric already. She stitches little white houses that depict her journey on the a9 road from Jaffna to Kilinochchi, identifying the construction that is seen on either side of the road that leads up to a map of her village stitched in a bright yellow and fervently marks in green stitching the location of her home.
