The artworks were done during lockdown in February 2021at Santani Resort in Kandy District. I worked on recycled brown paper bags originally used to keep the towels as per the covid protocol. The bag is a testament to the sustainability efforts at Santani.
‘The aroma of tea’ is a 2006 short animated filmmade by Dutch director Michael Dudok de Wit.It shows a small dot travelling in a determinedand rhythmical manner through landscapes.Just as the women in the tea trails movingin rhythm plucking tea leaves.
