Glitch/ Black and White references an earlier series of works by Thenuwara where the artist compared the persistence of social and political issues and presence of religious tensions to the voltage fluctuations that occur while changing the channels on a television set. The work was part of his 2019 exhibition M.O.B where the artist confronted the issues of rising Islamophobia and the crisis of Buddhist fundamentals.
