Gayan Prageeth’s ‘Conceal III’, explores water’s life-sustaining force, encouraging viewers to reflect on the hidden influences that shape our world. Drawing from the South Asian belief that water is the origin of all life, the lotus flower emerging from murky waters serves as a metaphor for the interplay of the visible and invisible, urging us to look beyond the surface.
The work was exhibited in Constellations: Global Reflections H2O Edition 2, curated by Lance Fung, as part of the Tri Hita Karana Universal Reflections Journey in 2024. The Tri Hita Karana Forum for Sustainable Development (THK) is a prestigious sustainability event held alongside the G20 last year.
